Light-Weight Faux Stone
This is a one of a kind product that has been only developed by Coral Stone. We use an EPS foam core and molds that has been computer cut 3/8” offset for the exterior coating. We use our Old World Stone Coat that can be color match to our cast stone. The advantage of our faux stone is that it can be glued, mud set and screwed to the sub-straight surface. The back has a 3/8” solid meshed back with the old world stone coat. This gives our product that advantage where competitor only has a foam core glued to the wall with foam back. Our product can be pre- dilled and screwed thought the face and with the solid stone back this feature puts us a step above all others. Here is another added plus of our faux stone. Before we use the eps foam in our coating system the foam must be sealed to prevent moisture getting into the eps foam. Then a bonding agent is used to create a bonding between the coat and the foam.
